writer-producer Steve Jones, is engaged in the
development of both live-action and animation
feature projects as well as developing plays for
the theatre. Currently Insight has 10 projects in
various stages of development.

CRACKED EGGS
The short film, Cracked Eggs, featuring Jared Harris, Carol Starks, Jonathan McGuiness and Jonathan Hansler is based on a play written by Steve Jones, which was performed at the Finborough Theatre, London as part of a new writer’s season.
Cracked Eggs was co-edited by BORAT /ALI G editor James Thomas and was selected for the LA SHORTS, AUSTIN and BOSTON UNDERGROUND film festivals. Cracked Eggs has also been
offered a distribution deal.
CHARLIE DON’T SURF
Feature project based on a play by Steve Jones. Lemore Syvan (SHERRY BABY) at Elevation Filmworks, New York is producing the feature. Eric Loren, director of CRACKED EGGS, is set to helm the film.
WHITE LIES AND ROSES
A romantic comedy feature, scripted by Steve Jones who is jointly producing the project with Michel Shane (executive producer of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN) of Hand Picked Films, Los Angeles.
Award winning Australian director, Nadia Tass, is attached to helm the project.
COMMISSIONED SCREENPLAYS
In his capacity as commissioned screenwriter, Steve Jones is currently developing his third screenplay for UK producers Haas-Silver-Levene films. The first 2 projects, a biographical drama and a medieval piece set in 14th century Scotland, are out to directors.
LUNCH HOUR/GHOST TRAIN
Development work and draft completed of full-length comedy-heist feature LUNCH HOUR. GHOST TRAIN, a family comedy set in Brooklyn, is also complete.
ANIMATION PROJECTS
Insight has a number of animation projects in development with Finlay Cowan, author, production artist (Pink Floyd, Oliver Stone's 'Alexander') designer and musician. Insight is also working with Vienna based animation artist Mason Doran.
HERO AND ZERO
Stage play that premiered on January 10th 2008 in Drachengasse Theatre in the heart of Vienna.
